Good point, gas mixture, temp, humidity, even hauling extra stuff...... you name it will impact mileage.

Is the highway milage significantly better at 65? I was'nt so concerned about highway as average mixed driving.
If this is'nt far off a typical V6 I would not get much if any improvement over my warmed over 5.7. I repeatedly get 27mpg highway at 65mph(flat lander) and 19 overall.
I average 24 to 25 around town and 27 to 28 on the highway with my 3.5!

The car is awesome. I had my first real road trip this weekend and got 26.3 mpg. That's going to Asheville from Raleigh, with a/c on and cruise set at 75mph. Going up Black Mountain in 4th, loaded with my gear. No sweat. Encountered rain on the way back, which had me a little concerned what with all the comments on the Goodyears (Integrity tires on my car), but the car was stable all the way. I WILL say that equalizing tire pressures really seems to help the car. I ran 34PSI all around and the car was definitely more stable then when it was at 30PSI.
