Yeah, it's an animal alright! Once I get done packing my core parts up, I'm taking her out again. I really couldn't play with it much last night because of the snow/ice/slush on the road. Today it has been between 35 and 40 all day so the roads are still wet, but they're not frozen.
My wife didn't know about this till a few days before Christmas. I stacked the deck in my favor by buying her some camera gear (umbrellas/stands, a new lens, a tripod). She was a little upset, but she really likes her camera gear so she has forgiven me. I'm not saying it would be worth a divorce, but definately worth a night on the couch!!
As far as the install, I couldn't believe how easy it was. I'll be honest, I was a little intimidated since my motor is still under warranty for the next 3,000 miles, or at least it WAS! The hardest part was getting the plastic upper intake manifold off from under the stock strut brace. Everything else was as simple as nuts and bolts, LITERALLY!! If I wasn't having to stop to take pictures, get new beers, or eat dinner, this probably could have been done in 2 hours or so. I was nervous so I was going slow, plus all the above reasons kept slowing me down even more.
