Okay..I was thinking the other day about V6's and how to get more out of them. Short of spinning the bajeezis out of them, you need cubic inches!
Well DUH! Right?
As far as I can find on info, the 3.5-3.52-4.0 V6 blocks are all internally the same except for minor differences in the mount location. The 3.5l V6's are really solidly built motors with stronger than need be guts.
This idea may fly right here;
Take a 4 litre (Candian spellin, right there) V6 crank out and drop it into a 3.5 block with a .030 (which it can handle just fine) overbore and VOILA!
4.02 liters!

3.8 Liter (2005)
9.6
3.78 x 3.43 (96 x 87)
215/245
4.0 Liter (2007)
3.78 x 3.58 (96 x 91)
10.3
253/262
@0.030 overbore
3.81 x 3.61 = 4.02 liters OR 244 cubic inches
.060 overbore is pushing it but = 256 Cubic inches or 4.2l (JUICY, EH?)
These cranks are out of the new Pacifica and Nitro platform
You should not have to notch the block or get clearanced anywhere.
NOW... bump the compression up from 9.6 to 10.5 and I am SURE that things would get a LOT more interesting!
Add a touch of the laffygas and things suddenly get complicated for a lot of V-8s!
Its all VERY logical!
