    Gauge Cluster

So anyone with a V6 try using the gauge cluster from a R/T or SRT... I'd really like to have the extra information (I beleive that I heard that they are plug and play but not sure). Does the milage information stay locked in the cars computer or in the cluster itself?

    Stupid questions I know but if I don't ask I won't know

If you are talking about adding the EVIC, it is more then just swapping the gauges............Not sure if it is another module, or a whole new PCM...........but it ain't cheap what ever it is!!!!!

Yeah, something tells me that would be an involved and expensive mod. However, if you can pull it off, I'd love to see the results. Good luck!!

My buddy has a Go Mango Daytona without the EVIC.......the Dealership fried his dash/gauges when doing an upgrade flash..........he had it replaced N/C, but to buy the replacement was a few thousand dollars from the dealer.........I can't remember the exact price, but it was outrageous!!!!!

successfully done on another lx forum. You need the steering wheel controls. You also need a steering wheel control module. and a person that really knows the starscan and factory programming. Of course you need a cluster with higher mileage than you have so you can swap when matched.

i have a srt in my se for u to get it to work its plug and play the only thing that wont work id the compass part but all u need is the over head console to add also u will need a scm to make the steering controls to work the best person to ask about this is 65standard im in the middle of adding the steering wheel controls i have almost everything but the 08 scm and the dealer sent me the wrong steering wheel control harness then in adding the sales codes needed to activate.

    this is the wrong haress

once i add ^^^ and add the sales code the dashes u see on the cluster will have the info that is missing

Somewhat incorrect, installing a Charger or Challenger cluster in a Magnum will make the rear hatch button inoperable.
