for your 3.5L id recomen with going with y pipes using flowmaster 40 series. it doesnt give off that whiney ricer sound but gives a nice deep rumble, thats what i did to my magnum, i also added a CAI it adds a little bit of sound, but doing your headers will give off a rumble a hemi cant even ignore. gluck!-oh and igot my setup done for under $400.00

For $800.00 I will stick with my True Dual Flowmaster 44 Set up (No Resonators).........That Cost me a grand total of $100.00 Cdn!!!!

With running two Flowmaster 44s, there is no "ricey" sound, and aftering installing a set of JBA Shorty headers, the exhaust note and idle and at speed has deepend even more........

When I had my RT exhaust with suitcase deleted it was extremely free flowing. My mileage on the Hwy avg at 33 MPG (Imp). Our gallon is a bit bigger than yours, but I got great mileage. I did suffer low end torque loss and power on take off. It also hung too long in any gear winding up to shift. So too free flowing seems bad for the 3.5L. I agree with a previous post that a deeper sound is had with a single muffler and dual out. It does sound ricey to me in true dual when loud. But the factory RT is the right balance between loudness and true duals, and then flowmaster 50's would make that set up even sweeter. We have so many choices when it comes to exhaust. Ive tried a couple ways already and will probably do it again soon in search of the sound I'd prefer. Have fun!

I have a true dual with Flowmaster 44's, no resonator and little to ZERO drone on the freeway (if there was some the wife would not ride in the car) and it's the meanest V6 you've heard. As for fuel mileage, over Thanksgiving, my drive to SoCal we got 24.7mpg at 75mph the whole way including up the mountain into Gorman.
