Engine light is on!

Well I was sitting in my car while it was off and the engine light came on and the car started beeping so I turned it on and its running fine but I walk out and see that the left exhaust pipe was spitting out water and it was maybe 53 outside. I just had all the software updated and maybe that could be the problem or maybe because I just put a charger cluster into a magnum?? Any ideas anyone?Thanks

not sure i understand the conditions which resulted in MIL illumination. was it "key on/engine off"?

use the key dance method to retrieve DTCs and post them here.

i wouldn't worry too much about water in the exhaust. moisture condenses in there all the time.

Yeah the key was in and the motor was off

MIL will illuminate at key on for approximately 15 seconds as a bulb test feature. then it will either stay on solid or start flashing until key is turned.
on solid = all OBD2 monitors have run and vehicle is ready for emissions testing.
flashing = all OBD2 monitors have not run and vehicle is not ready for emissions testing.

bobby, ofcourse there is condinsation coming out of the exhaust, it is 53 degrees out. lol

Yeah theres no problem anymore,well I've never seen water come out of my exhaust at all,so it was a first for me
