you will lose some low end but gain up top. i have a cutout on the Ram and its fun to be loud when you want and quiet when you need (like early am) i have just began researching them for the Charger so I am interested to read others' opinions here

Yes, you can adjust how much they open. Just so you know, your 3.5 won't sound anything like the 5.7, or 6.1 with cut-outs.

Depends on where you put it/them. If you put them before the pipes join together, you will need 2. If you put it after the resonator, you will only need 1. Keep in mind, the sooner you put it, the less restriction the exhaust gasses will run into (in the form of bends, resonators, mufflers, etc) and the more free flowing your exhaust will be.

I was looking into these strictly for fun purposes, I have the dual SRT8 oem exhaust so I was thinking on both sides just after the headers.

If you put it after the resonator it'll be behind the whole car, and what would be the point..

On the lower end a bit but gained again on the top side ..

If you are running stock exhaust still ie. mids Y'd into a single muffler and resor. then placing it between the Y and the Muffler would be my suggestion..
