    Coast Accelerate

    I have a 2006 dodge charge SE w/ a 3.5 v6. My predator is a U7136 part # 096510 update #v.9r04
My problem is with a canned tune loaded my car accelerates in coast. I go from o to 25mph without touching the gas pedal. The acceleration is slow and gradual, but steady. I also believe it dosen't slow down when I take my foot off the gas below 40mph. It feels like auto cruise control. When I go back to my stock tune. the car acts more predictably, coasting at about 5mph. Please help. Except for this I love the way the car drives with the tunes. I don't want to give them up.

I'd go back to Diablo's website and get the Crom updated or call their help desk.

Don't know if it would help, but have you tried pulling fuse #11? That worked wonders when I first loaded my Predator for the first time. I didn't have the same issue, but this seems to be the magic bullet for most drivability issues. It might do nothing, but it's worth the 15 seconds that resetting this circuit takes. Good luck!!

Did you pull it before or after loading the tune?

This sounds like the issue we all had with the first release. We had to lower the idle 50-100 for some in the tune or the car would drive itself... You can give that a shot and I'm more than sure it will fix the issue if the fuse pulling does not.

This sounds kind of nice to me... my house has a long, straight road leading to it. I bet I could nap.

I had the same issue, but it turned out to be a vacuum leak causing the ETC to adjust wrong....

I pulled my fuse after loading the tune. I loaed the tune and drove it immediately. When I got back, I just wasn't happy with the way the engine seemed to run. It was rough and there wasn't this great and wonderful change that everyone else talked about. I pulled the fuse #11 just to see if that would do it. I put the fuse back in and when I cranked the car, it purred like a kitten. The take-off was amazing. Pulling that #11 fuse after loading the tune was the night and day difference everyone talked about. Hope you've gotten it fixed!
