All of that is alot for the computer to take in, keep driving it hard and let the the car learn what you did to it, it should pay off shortly.

Pull fuse #11 for about 1 minute or so, put it back in, and take off. You should notice a difference right away. (at least with the transmission shifts)

Fuse 11 clears the adaptive learning system... Over time, it will "learn" the modifications either way, but pulling the fuse ensures that it's not including previous vehical conditions in the algorithm's calculations, keeping everything biased towards your current setup. Basically, it speeds up the learning process.

Whether you need to do it after having the mods for some time? Not really - probably been long enough to average your current performance setting. That said -- everytime I do it the car does run extra peppy... until you hit some traffic, or decide not to drive like an azzhole for a bit :-)

Well one mod that's relatively cheap is nitrous. A75 hp shot should get his attention, 100 shot and it will run almost with a hemi.

3 car lengths could have been a slow reaction on your part. The adaptive aspect could also be at play. WHo was running a heavier car? Full tank of gas? Heat soak? Too much to really judge

Gee... I was going to suggest disconnecting the battery so you could reset the computer that way. Wait for about 20-30 minutes and plug it back in, then turn the key like three times and then start the car.

    See if that works.

This one has been answered definitively somewhere here... fuse 11 under the hood for 30 seconds is all you need to do to erase the adaptive learning (it was actually 7 seconds if I recall but 30 is not gonna ruin your day). Anything else is backed up way longer than your patience could handle when disconnecting the battery.

No, if you pull the fuse the car forgets everything it learned about the way you drive and starts learning fresh... so pull the fuse for 30 seconds, put it back in, then go beat the hell out of your car and it will wake up. If you beat the snot out of it for a couple weeks WITHOUT pulling the fuse, it will eventually learn the new parts too, but why wait that long?
