I have a 2006 Charger SXT that lists a 5 speed automatic transmission. When I drive in autostick, I only see 4 speeds. Has anyone else noticed this and do any of the software updates available correct this?

That is normal behavior.
getting "5" to show in autostick is primarily left for the Road & Track package Cars, or SRT's.
Superchips can enable "5" on R/T's.

I have a 05 SXT AWD also and it has all five speeds. The normal display is 1234 and D. If your Charger is listed as a 5 speed, then it should show the same thing. You might want to check you VIN with the dealership and make sure it is what they advertised.
thanks for your help, it does show the D lol. I feel stupid, but Im glad I understand now.
I noticed the other day that it skips back to D after I upshift from 4
Yup, with the Auto stick you are only selecting the maximum gear, so when you hit 5th, well that's it you're in drive!
