Just an update on the conversion. I have over 2500 miles on this swap now. I drive it almost everyday. Johan was kind enough to tune my car for the new 5spd and 3:90 gears. I'm now looking forward to warm weather driving, car shows and maybe some track time. see ya on the road.

I finally put the car on a dyno last Fri. Now I know why my 4spd had so much trouble. The first pull was 359rwhp and 310lbs of torque. I also found It running around 8.24 psi of boost. That poor old 4spd never had a chance. The new 5spd seems to be handling the torque well though. I had the tuner even out my fueling curve and settled on a tune at 346.93rwhp and 324.16lbs of torque. Car was getting heat soaked from full throttle pulling so numbers went down a few hp. I will hit the track soon and post up some numbers.

Could you put a list of parts together and post to the other thread about 4spd to 5spd swap?

Also I was wondering about the oil pan change. Why was this necessary? Did you have to change the pickup tube?

    Done

The transmissions bolt directly to the oil pan and have different bell housings
No you do not have to change the pickup

Finally found a day with acceptable heat and humidity to give the stall and nitto's a test. I was getting constant low 5.0 sec 0-60mph's before the stall. The first try was 4.80 at an idle speed launch. I then did a 2500 rpm brake launch and did a 4.74 with a bit of wheel spin. I now need to find just the right spot of rpm and no spin.

Heading to the track sun with a bunch of crazy mopar guy's from the fnlx club for a muscle car shootout.
The car has a new stall and some nitto drag radials for the track. The weather is supposed to be awesome. I have over 5,000 miles on the tranny swap now. stay tuned hoping for a 12.99?? or better....

    Well I did not hit a 12 as I hoped. I came very close though with a 13.020 @105.71mph with a 1.957 60'
The wife also ran the car down the track and managed a 13.022. The car was running consistent 13.1 times all around 105mph. The stall converter and drag tires have gotten my 60' times much more respectable. Over all very happy with the car. It has been one year now since the turbo was installed. I can't believe what this car has gone through in that time span. We had a BBQ lunch at the track thanks to the boy's and girls from the local FNLX peeps. Lot's of fun times for the club, some first time runners and some trophies and a couple of personal best's. I know a few can't wait to do it again

On the last race of 2012 I managed to run a 12.855 @107.7 mph. While video taping the run I noticed that I was shifting into 4th gear about 2 or 3 hundred feet before the traps. This is a completely wasted shift. I have now put the 3:64 rear differential back in my car. This should trap me at about 6400rpm in 3rd gear. I was only able to get a few 0-60 runs in to test the car out before the snow came. I am very happy with the car and the new gear ratio. The first track event of 2013 is 4/27. I am hoping for some even better results.....
