    Question 3.5L w/ oil cooler

As I was changing my wifes oil today I noticed her car came with the oil cooler, we looked in the LX service manuel and it seems that all the 3.5L have them?
    Is this true?

I'll post up a pic in a bit, I am doing alot of things at once here.

Jut to give you another data point. I saw that in the manual too, and my 3.5l magnum has one. Confirmed that last week when I had the belly pan off.

The 3.5 in the LH's (with the heavy duty cooling) had the oil cooler in the radiator. The tranny cooler went to one side, and the oil cooler went to the other.

Right, I think that the oil cooling is part of the longevity of these motors.
In the LH's, the 2.7's didn't come with oil cooling, and there were many issues with sludge, and premature engine failures.

Not the case with the 3.5's!!

    from FSM:

The oil lubrication system is a full-flow filtration, pressure feed type. The oil pump body is mounted to the engine block. The pump inner rotor is driven by the crankshaft. A windage tray, increases power by minimizing oil windage at high engine RPM. For increased oil cooling, an oil pan mounted, oil-to-coolant oil cooler is used.

The LH series has oil coolers in the 2.7L, 3.2/3.5Ls. The cooler is in the radiator but the 2002 - 2004 3.5L models had a external oil cooler that was mounted on the A/C condenser on the left side (Facing engine).
