Does anyone know where the PCV valve is located on the 3.5L

As you're facing the engine it is in the back on the left. Easy to remove, but the tricky part to put it back on is getting the end of the pcv valve back into to hose end because there is not alot of room to get your hand in there for leverage amd it's a snug fit between the hose end and the end of the pcv valve.... I'll try to get a picture...
Thanks,I figured that was where it was but I couldn't see it, so I was just about to remove the intake to get to it. I'll wait for pictures.
Like MagNite said. It's owner replaceable but you have to get your hand in there. It only costs about $5 at the dealership. I don't know how much they would charge you to replace it but anything you can do yourself is going to save you bucks. Mine was installed hand-tight at the factory so the replacement is also hand-tight. I don't know how you would put a wrench in there anyway.

Yeah the hard part is that you have to screw the pcv valve in first and then slip the hose over the nipple of the pcv valve. It's tough because the hose opening has to be stretched over the nipple and there isn't much room to get your hand in there. Hre are some pics:

To put the hose on I stood at the front of the car, held onto the end of the hose with my left hand to guide it, then with my right hand reached in between the intake manifold and engine and grabed the hose with my fingers. Rocking both hands back and forth the hose slipped on. My hands are pretty big and it was tight but do-able. My valve was also hand tight and went back in hand tight.
Thanks for all the info
what happens if it isn't replaced?
The car explodes. Just kidding... lol I believe gas mileage suffers a tad?
Just changed mine last night. One thing I found helpful when putting the hose back on was to get the hose lined up with the opening on pcv valve and then get left hand behind the bend in the hose a few inches from the end and push. This worked much better then trying to hold the end of the hose and pull in onto the pcv valve. All in all about 5 minutes to change. Mine was also hand tight and after 50k miles wasn't clogged get but felt and sounded like the insides were a little sticky.
