    06 5.7 R/T TCM in a 3.5L Nag 1?

Can someone tell me if this will work properly. My buddy is having trouble getting good shifts out of his 3.5L and I was gonna let him try an extra TCM I have for my R/T.

    Thanks

only issue would be gear ratio. otherwise i can see it working. he'd need higher shift points than stock RT's though.

3.5's use the same TCM as the 5.7 and 6.1, it's all programming differences.

He could try it, it may be the same TCM being it is a Nag1........what rpm does it shift at now

It may be simply cause it is a 3.5 that it doesn't shift as good

    What gear would they put in a 3.5 with a Nag1, I know the 4 speed 3.5 is about a 3.56 or 3.6X can't remember

I'll have to find out what his shift point is. He updated his CROM and now it isn't shifting as good. He says it feels like the convertor unlock for a split sec. then goes to next gear.

Same, I think that's pretty much all the way around. I think if you get the Predator it can reprogram it for ya.

After doing that 4.0 L stroker on the 3.5 All I could think was the 3.73 getrag differential swap would be too cool. That combined with a TCM that had 7K plus RPM upshifts. The little 3.5 likes to run upstairs when modded.

The Predator is the way to go... Tuned out, my 3.5 would bark the tires into second occasionally. Always crisp shifts.
