While I cannot speak for the Blastin Bob's directly I have a Magnaflow catback and it sounds ok. I am actually switching here shortly to a 10db dual Blastin Bob's, for the dual look and I've heard one and like it so I figure why not.

A catback is an exhaust system that runs from the catalytic converters (which are up closer towards the engine right after the headers) all the way back (replacing all the stock equipment including the mufflers and resonator). A catback system is usually going to give more performance gains and a bigger difference in sound, depending on how it is made. The Blastin Bobs kit, you literally cut off the resonator near the rear of the car and the y-pipe bolts up against the stock muffler, leaving everything else factory. 10db is 10 decibels, meaning the car will be 10 decibels louder than stock, which is louder than say a 5db kit or one with resonators or mufflers.

ya those blastin bobs are good quality stuff and they explained on hear exactly how it all is

the reso deletes are really nice

the set up that im getting is the 10db reso delete with a flowmaster 44 for the muffler....

its goin to sound sweet! and i cant wait

What about when you give it full throttle from take off? does it sound ricey? I have a daytona exhaust and the reso's are only clamped on but when i un hooked them it sounded gross...is that cause i didnt take them completely off?

I posted a thread of my exhaust I did on my 2.7.. Total cost was 120, I cut it right behind the suitcase and ran pipes back. Just an idea if you are trying to stay in a budget, and I love the sounds and I'm always getting people ask me if it is a hemi.
