    Kelley Blue Book says my Magnum is only worth 1/2 of what it was 18 months ago

    I got it 18 months ago for $16K now its worth $8K in Excellent condition

    Market values vary in different regions. My MSXT with 44K says a tick under $15K, no way I would sell it for that!

    On the plus side, that is only a grand less than I paid for it, and I owe less than half of what its worth. Of course, that doesn't take into account all the $$$ spent on mods, but hey: its a hobby!

    They have been averaging 4700 sale prices at auction.

    It's interesting. There have not been many r/t's at auction. Most must be fleet cars. Chrysler said they are no longer going to sell cars to fleet companies or to rental companies due to low profits and the affect it has on resale values. This is a good thing but a day late and a dollar short for us poor bastards.

    Sounds a little low.... probably the mileage that is killing your value. Me, I never worry about resale value myself, I just drive my cars and say to hell with the mileage. I got about 45K on mine now. Put 23k on in 1 year.

    Is it true that when a vehicle's production is canceled, the value immediately drops? If so, now is a great time to buy a used Magnum, not so great time to sell.

    However, I believe the value will go up over time (for the Hemi models).

    yea maybe for the srt8... if I wanted a used vehicle i could get an 05-06 rt mag for a good 15-16 grand...

    plus the body style change for 08 lowered the price on the older models some
