Took a trip down to the lake for a family reunion a couple of weeks ago. Was running 80 most of the trip (have a ticket to prove it) with the AC on. Had a couple of those drivers on the way down, you know the ones that scare the hell out of you and you just want to get away from them. The maggie has a little vibration at 100 MPH (no I don't have a ticket to prove that). Most of the trip was interstate travel but some was 2 lane highway. Even with the short bursts of heavy rightfootedness, I still got 32.6 MPG!!!! Good looks, lots of room for the bags, kids, icechest etc etc and amazing MPG too.

I feel ya on the speed going down the highway. I've had my maggie up to 115 mph on those crapie continentals that people on this site complain about and everything was fine. I've also had good fun daily driving ,dipping in and out off traffic with no problems.
Take this tip from me install a good alarm on your maggie. They tried to steal my maggie last year, I had stock rims on it ,,,no modifications on it or in it. Better safe than sorry.

yea i like the 2.7 there isint anything worng with it on the highway at all nice and smooth and looks AMAZING no matter what but def sick of hearing you should have bought the hemi......

Yeah, I was on 82 and topped the hill and saw him setting there in his black and white Charger and instantly started slowing and hitting the shoulder. Airplane timed me so there is a good change of getting it dropped to a lower fine. Got to chat with the trooper about his Charger for a bit though
If it wasn't for the plane timing me the officer would have let me out of it with just a warning. At least I didn't get it when I was passing someone 3 miles before, I was well above 80 at that moment.

On a side note I did run against an SRT yesterday and kept just ahead of him. Was quite shocked... though it was an SRT4 Caliber .
Those are quick little puppies! But the Mag beats it hands down in cool factor! and I can carry more as well LOL!

It's pretty cool to read this thread. My Mag SE took my girlfriend and I, and a sh*t ton of luggage from Jacksonville Fl to Naples, and carted us around the ENTIRE weekend on ONE tank. Incredible. Not a single regret, especially these days.

I have the Charger SE+ 3.5L. I didn't buy the 2.7L as I had heard it had problems with the heads& timing chain.

Is this true??

I love my V6 and no I don't want a HEMI.

It is just too easy to drive 70 mph in my Charger.
