Fnky Help! Cel....

Hey all,
I was out tonight cruising around, and stopped to BS with a buddy, when I got back in the car, fired it up, and gave her some substantial pedal, and it lagged like I had the brake on.....Them, Bwammo!
the check engine light illuminates.
WTF?
I did get gas, but when the light cam on, I immediatly pulled over, and shut the car off, and checked the cap.....Drove another 2+ miles home, and the light is still on.
Did the Key thingy to check codes...And all it said was "Done".....no "p" codes.

OK,
Got her back from Stead Chrysler today....Turns out the TCM had an internal failure. They ended up replacing the TCM........All is cool now.

what's the TCM? Maybe this is what my problem is.

TCM stands for Transmission Control Module, It's what controls the shifting of the transmission - in other wards another computer which is also controlled partially by the main computer and other components

They also said that they had to shut down and re-boot the Body Control Module.

Its at the dealer again...Same problem.
Check engine light came on, and felt like it was stuck in 2nd gear.....! more time, and Im gonna get the ball rolling on the lemon law proceedings
