    Dies but stays on

Does anyone get this? I will be at a light the car will be idling well then out of the blue it like dies but it is still on. All the lights on the cluster come on. If I give it gas it does nothing but the motor is on but the idle is dead. It like goes out of timing but really low and wont move. If I turn the key and pull it out and really fast put it back it turns on and runs well again. The dealer had no clue. And of course it did not did it when they test drove it. THIS BLOWS!!!!!!!

I think this is a TCM issue? if you get a OBDII code reader from your local auto parts you might be able to get an error code? maybe it's a fuel issue like MR.iNCREDIBLE has?

No it happens regardless of fuel level. The dealer made me feel like I was nuts. I don’t get a code after Stitch. Should I or could I drive with OBDII installed to see if it pops up. It sucks 1st torque converter now this. I never had issues like this with my Cadi.

I'm not sure? but I would think that you could, or as soon as it happened put the reader on to catch the code. How long did you drive it before you went to the dealer? You might have cleared the code by driving it for a while. Sounds like you have MR.i s problem? something in the tank or fuel line?

Does not sound like mine. Mine gives a quick ping and then I loose power. The car is still on just will not respond. All the dash lights come on. The idle goes very low but still on. If I turn the switch of and on it works sometimes but if I turn the car off and pull the key out and back in fast it starts right up. It then goes right back to normal. I think mine is electrical and not a fuel issue.

That sucks big time... When did the problem start? One day next week give me a call and we will throw her on the StarScan and see what we come up with.

It started a few weeks ago. I got the car new it has not given me any issues till I hit 70,000. It does move but like a car way out of timing.

    Thanks Jay
