Which CAI?

Can anyone recomend a CAI that will does work to improve flow and is not just for looks? Will the CAIs for the 3.5 work for the 2.7 also?

I've been looking at K&N CAI as that's about the only one I can order local but if I can get one that performs better and doesn't cost both arms and a leg I might be interested in it instead.

I know that most people don't think the 2.7 is worth tuning to improve performance... but I say if they tune a 4 why not tune a 6? I'm not looking to race, just want a better flow. A few extra ponies here and there and maybe improve milage some as well over the already awsome milage I'm getting.

Check air hammer products, he said he makes one but it really doesnt offer much in the way of performance cause of the weight of the car.

theres no air hammer for the 2.7....ive asked the Rev numerous times if he would consider making one...

do u have a link to this flowmaster cai u speak of, only one ive seen thats actualy decent looking and what not for the 2.7 imo, is the k&n intake, replaces the intake tube, filter and has the heat sheild that seals off to the hood..

I am a tax rebate check away from getting this same K&N for my 2.7. Does anyone have this on their ride? What improvements have you seen/felt?
I had a K&N on my 2.4L PT Cruiser and I got much better gas milage and sound... if this can replicate the foremost of the two I will definately be dropping the 200$+ for it....

What mod did you have to do to get it to work? From looking at both the 2.7 and the 3.5, they don't look to different and I been thinking that they should be close enough to make one work on the other.

The k and n is a good cai, in spites of what others might say. I have one on my 5.7 it was the first mod i got. I did notice just a lilttle improvement when i first got it, but you have to add a exhaust/chip/tuner/cams/heads or at least 2 of the four to go along aith the cai to get the full benefits
