    Bad gas mileage

hi, my 2.7 charger is getting only about 210 miles to the tank, what can i do to get it to a higher range? i already changed the air filter and ran a can of seafoam and even cleared the adaptive memory for the engine computer. what else can i do to help with the mileage? it only has 32k on it and i try to keep my rpms below 2k. whats the normal mileage to the tank am i supposed to be getting?

Damn! 2.7 magnum gets like 280-320 miles per tank. Mine has 45,009 miles and all I've done since I got it 15 months ago is got the oil changed.

Tire pressure? Check the sidewall and bump it up to the max and see what happens. It's worth 2-3mpg on my R/T. Ride is a little rougher, but not objectionable. Mobil 1 might help as well, but not much.

yeah but i jsut got out of a 04 supercharged grand prix gtp, and even with the 290 hp that i was makiong at the crank, i was getting 400+ miles to a 15 gallon tank on 93 octane, i was just expecting more being that im easy on the throttle, vs. in my gtp i beat the piss out of it all the time. does the 2.7 have a maf sensor?

Don't forget the weight, gear ratios have something to do with mpg too.

Im getting close to same 210-220 miles on a tank in my sxt and I do try to drive it nice, When I first put on the intake it was really good, almost 300, now since the flowmaster and maybe because of winter it sucks!
