i had to take the car into the dealer today for some electrical gremlins so i loaded the stock tune back into the car. then when i reloaded the 91 octane tune later i had to go back and change my preferences again. is there a way to save the 91 tune the way i have it set up right now, or am i stuck with having to set it up again every time (ie. shift points, tire size, rev limiter, etc.). thanks for any help.

I'm not really sure there is a way. I haven't really played with canned tunes much because I've had a CMR tune since I've had my predator. If there is a way, I'd like to know because when I return my car to stock I lose all my changes that I made to my CMR tune.

so i'm guessing this can't be done?
After you make your modifications to the canned tune and write it to the PCM you can go in under "custom tune" and "export last tune written"(I think that's what it named). Then download it to your computer/laptop and you can rename it from there.

Can't hurt nothing by trying it.
Obviously, his last tune written is a modified 91 tune, so by exporting his current tune, it will work.
I have what is now known as a 93 "beta" tune, a custom tune from Diablo based on the 93 tune that has the idle fixed, and the decel rate about the same as stock. After modifying it further with changes to REV limiter and a couple of other things. I then exported the last written tune, renamed it, re-up'd to the Predator, made some description changes, and uploaded to the car. It retained all the extra changes I made. So it worked for me.
As for shift firmness, and other functions that are separated from the tune, I don't think they are saved with the tune and may have to be re-done each time.
If Diablo could create a "profile" function into the Predator, so you can upload your profile to vehicle, which would include your tune, shift firmness, TCM adaptation, tire size and whatever else all in one shot, that would be REALLY cool!![]()
Canadadude is right.
The only thing that does not get saved with a export of last tune written is the auick adjusts, that you will have to redo, everything else gets saved.
One note however, when you do the last tune written export and reload it into the predator it will ask you to reset the parameters, you should do so, if not it will apply those changes on top of the changes you have already made, which will throw off your tune considerable.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, I am not sure about the former.
Ok, I think I need a tiny clarification. When I sent my modified 93 tune to you folks, and got back the supermodified "beta" 93 tune, I uploaded that to my Predator and then to the car. I don't recall if it asked to reset the parameters or not. If it did, I would have probably said NO, thinking it was going to set the new tune from you back to something else.
Should I put the stock tune back in, delete all the custom tunes, and re-load the 'beta' tune back into the Predator, and finally into my car again?
I'm confused. (Easy to do)
thanks for the help guys. cheers.
