Maybe Diablo should borrow my car to find a cure for this problem...........................
Superchips fixed their problem with the early 05's when they studied my car, they had my car twice for a week each time.
They said my car had software coding that they never saw before...............
I buy what I want - just ask my wife, LOL
Good luck Diablo.

Have owned my share of 12 & 13 second cars, am happy now with my stock RT.
In on this was thinking of buying one.
They sent me a new file to try. They are working on it, just not to the finish line yet.

Here is the reply I got from D/S (mikel) today..........
"I have nothing further I can suggest to trouble shoot this remotely."
"I have to assume its something in the 05 car, feel free to rma the unit and we'll test the heck out of it... "
Thanks
Got my hands on a Predator today and it has no problems reading and clearing
codes. Have not tuned it yet but I see no reason it would not work. I will probably
keep the Predator just for fun.
So, is there a problem with my intune??? It still says no ECU found on the '05 Magnum.......

I cant make sense out of this.
Would you be willing to fill out the rma form and send the tool in so we can test it here?
Its hard to diagnose something that is only affecting a few people. And for those who dont know the 05 software is a joke.
chrysler used the SCI network software on can buss hardware. I can bet without changing any hardware in your car I can convert the software to all 06 stuff. and then it will just work.
And when i say it affects few people its true, there are a lot of 05 folks out there using the intune. It has something major to do with the year of the build. and since diablo cant replicate it in house it would require some one local with the problem who owns and intune to solve the problem. NO matter how much testing is done on the cars they have , (testers who go there ) etc there is no way to be 100 percent because there is so many variables.
on the 05s the network type/hardware type is the cause of the issue.
the hardware wants to go faster than the software will allow.

So a predator would be better? Slower! I have an 05 early build and am holding off on an intune or a predator because of all the horror stories I have read about!
just got the intune in today. ill let u guys know how it goes on a 05 300c
so mine is an 02/04 build date. i think the earliest build ive seen. Popped the intune open, updated and registered it. Plugged it in to the car and it asked for a calibration update.
So i went back to the computer and it did the calibration update. I went back to the car and went to tune car, it gave me the "NO ECUs found" so i turned the key on and off a couple of times and it finally read it. Backed up the stock tune and wrote the CAI 91 OCT tune. When i turned on the car it was shaking like crazy so i got scared and set it back to stock tune. When it finished writing the stock tune i started the car and it was also shaking crazy with p1411 and p1414 codes.
Next i pulled fuse 11 and the car went back to normal. I was relieved!! I then proceeded to write the CAI 91 OCT tune again. After it was done my car idled good so i went for a test drive. It was awesome! it wont let me change the transmission parameters. or read codes. i guess i need to update or swap out the tcm. hope this helps someone out
lots of early 05 models run into that rough idle situation, it even happens after dealer flashes with the factory tools. What happens is MDS is enabled at idle, its weird, but pulling the fuse or disconnecting the battery for a few seconds always rectifies it.
For the trans settings, again, many early 05s need to have their TCM calibrations updated at the dealership, once thats done, the shift point/firmness/autostick options will work![]()
