So I want to date log for knock and fuel [ add or not ]
What exctally do I log??? There are so many abbriviations ... letters.... numbers. I cant make head and tales of it all.
Can some one tell me [ for dummies ] what to log and excatally where to find it all?
Thanks,
Troy
I think the abbreviation for knock is something like "KNK TOT Retard". The a/f reading on datalogging isn't very accurate but I think for fuel it is something like "Open Loop AFR"
I usually log the following,
ACT
ECT
Open Loop A/F
RPM
MPH
PRATIO
Raw TPS1
Base Spark
Actually cylinder spark cylinder1
KNK TOT Retard

what about long and short term knock.....
Do I really need to update to the latest version? I running the 9r12 version now.
Best adjustments for running catless mids/srt headers?. What are others running?
LT=Long Term
ST=Short Term
It will look something like LT KNK or ST KNK
Short Term KNK is not too bad if less than 3*
Long Term KNK is not good at all.
I am still learning myself.
Each scenario is different, there is no set setting.
There are posts that can give you a lot more info than me, you would just have to search. You might also look at Diablo's section in the vendors section here or maybe Diablos forums.
2005 Magnum RTBlown 2009 Challenger SRT
I would suggest editing that list a tad.
ACT
ECT
Open Loop A/F
RPM
MPH
PRATIO
Raw TPS1(07-up Accel pedal position and Throttle blade position)
Base Spark
Actually cylinder spark cylinder1
KNK ST Retard
KNK LT Retard
and if yer sending some logs to a tuner add these:
1/1 Short term adapt
2/1 Short term adapt
1/1 Long term adapt
2/1 Long term adapt
