Here we are transferring the paper template to the other side:
Using paint to mark the area to cut
Now is a great time to create the actual pattern that will be included in the kit, this will be much easier to use:
Now for the CARnage moment I've been waiting for for months he he he!! Make sure to hold the air hack saw blade at a slight (5 degree) angle as to make the inner cut larger than the outer cut.

looking great Mo.
2 questions for you my man;
1) will you be including an installation process for body shops that will be installing this for people on what they need to do for different installations?
2) instead of removing all that meat from your rear quarter can you just roll your inner lip down or is the cut out simply for the fittment of bigger, wider tires?
she's coming along great now not much time left until a full kit is ready to go. can't wait to see the entire thing assembled on the car. will this need the danko rear spoiler to finish the complete package?
1) absolutely, I'll even show the entire process online on the forums!
2) With the regular kit, you can also use huge tires and you dont cut anything - that (basic) kit is already done!!! Here, we are making the "TUB KIT" in which you have to cut out the wheel lips to fit the fiberglass tubs in there so you can drop the car way down around the huge tires.
3) You do not need any spoiler at all to install this kit, but most any spoiler should work with it.
It is now necessary to install the widebody back on the car along with the cut down inner wheel liner so we can begin the prototype work on the tubs.
Here is a picture of the sheets of alluminum I'm using to mock up the inside of the wheel tub. We are getting close now, I'm still planning on working all next week and getting it done by the end of the year.

Passenger side tub mould is now completely laminated. Tomorrow, I'll be removing it from the car and grinding it.

Ok all U Charger fans out there, I've got some breaking news - The passenger side tub mould got made before New Years as promised ! Now, I'm turning the mould over to my trusty helper Dean to finish and polish it out and by Friday, the mould will be deliverd to the fiberglass shop to get laminated. I should have a pair of tubs to test fit on Monday and then we will be just about ready to start shipping the kits out!!!!!

Since we had to box up the first Danko Wide Body Kit today, I first needed to test fit the wheel tubs. BTW, they fit perfectly, and now I'm gonna document the work with some good pictures as an installation reference. The fiberglass wheel tub fits above the plastic wheel well liner and the edge of the liner screws to it. The wheel well liners must be split on the dotted line and they will overlap each other slightly when screwed to the fiberglass wheel tub. Stay tuned for more pics of the Tub and Fuel hose installation!
