Ain't it a BLAST running with Porsche's and such?
So, they passed me a lot at Mid Ohio... it was still a lot o' fun!
And I really DID have to slow down for a Diablo in the corners!![]()
nice.
I did pass a Boxster out on the track but got passed by the R8. I think next time I go it'll be a lot more fun since I know what to expect.

Great share indeed. We have been searching for this information.
i have been to TWS a couple of times to hang out with my s2000 club (s2000 club of america)
and i have actually tracked my s2000 there once!! what a BLAST!! by far the best thing that you can spend your money on for mods. i started in the green run group and by the end of the first day i was advanced to the blue run group and by the last run of the 2nd day i was cleared by my instructor to be solo!! what a feeling that is!!
i would love to go back!!
alot of my close s2000 buddies go out to TWS and track it on a normal bases(some also have miata's that they track also). that might be one of them in the pics on this page! lol
i bet the 300c would be fun at the track!! but with being our family car i dont know if that will ever happen for us! but still seems like a blast!!
anyone have any other plans to go the track, not just TWS??
last time I was out at TWS there were a few s2000's running. all of them blue solo with track tires. they were pretty quick. on my PB lap there was an s2000 that I was chasing. I got close but that car is so small and light it can get through some of the tighter turns quicker

Sweet vid cibalo!
I went jan 2008. Was a high of like 45 that weekend. I had a blast though!!
I got to ride in a 360 Modena as did my wife, she also rode in a lingenfelter z06!!
I went with The Drivers Edge, same price. We got enough people to join to get a discount though!
Do you go to the track/any others much?

I only end up going about once a year. mainly because I always find more things I need to do to the car to have it better set up for the track. so I have to save money for the mods, do the mods, and then save up for the track weekend. I have a few more mods to do this year but waiting on a few things so maybe around Feb I'll be ready to go again. I do like the looks I get sitting in the garage before the first session and then having those same people come up to me later asking how that car does it.
Track days are lots of fun.
If you have never done one I highly recomend it.
I want to get a group together next year to go to Thunder Hill Raceway (Willows, CA) and do a track day with the Hooked on Driving guys.
Here is a video of me going around the track in my old 118hp mini cooper.

Can't wait to do it in my Challenger.

people would come up to me after a session and say "I couldn't understand why you were running that car and then I saw you were in my group and thought this should be interesting. I was happy you staged at the back so you wouldn't be in my way and then I look in my rear view mirror and see that I'm in your way."
mods include:
Pedders Track II
front strut tower brace
police oil cooler
second transmission cooler
second power steering cooler
180 tstat
Motul 600 brake fluid
set of blank rotors
track pads
steel brake lines
nitto NT05s
85 mm TB
ported intake manifold
ceramic coated mild steel air hammer
cat back exhaust
custom tune
paddle shifters
I"m in the blue group. Pedders is a suspension company and Track II is a package. includes new shocks and springs, anti-roll bars, and replaces all the bushings with poly ones
