Wow folks, I think we all had a great time at the Houston Cars and Coffee meet today. It was totally awesome to see so many of the club members show up with their kool rides and represent the club well. My brother-in-law said we really had a great club and that it was well represented by all of the different Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep rides. On the way home this SuperBee came flying by me with a host of Corvetts and Vipers following behind. As we progressed down I-10 past Hwy-x all hell broke loose as Corvetts and Vipers lined up 4 abreast and just opened up. It was an awesome sight to see!

C&C was indeed a fun event to attend. SCLX represented big time. I love all the different cars, trucks and bikes you see at C&C...car porn if you will, lol.

The ride home was indeed fun Al, and the Vipers, Vettes and new Camaro were a bunch of road warriors and made the ride home a blast. As I was exiting the freeway at Hwy-6, I could still hear the Vipers at wide open throttle going down I-10. I hope your brother-in-law enjoyed the drive home.

Did you go by and look at the New Camaro at Mac Haik?

Yes I did Mark and surprisingly, when the seat is moved back as far as possible (as in the Challenger) I actually fit OK. The feel of the Camaro is more like a cockpit in a plane because the center console is higher than in the LX and one feels more surrounded. The exit is more difficult as the side is much deeper or higher than in the LX platform and I have to lift my leg to get out. The 6-speed is a short throw; much more so than the Hurst unit in my Challenger. I also thought the interior of the 2SS was not unlike that in the SRT and I did like the gauge cluster as it is reminiscent of my original ‘67 SS396 interior. They are only offering a $500 rebate and NO negotiation because the rides are in demand! BTW, no test drives allowed!!
