SCLX Caravan: Mopar Car Show Brenham TX April 4th 2009

Don't worry about the fiat ref., that is LXF's April fools joke, not mine. Today, if you type D o d g e (or) C h r y s l e r it defaluts to fiat.

This saturday Appel Fiat/Fiat/Jeep in Brenham is hosting there second annual Mopar Car Show.

Registration will be $20.00 per Entry and will start at 9:00am
Show, Judging, The band and Free lunch will start at 12:00pm
Awards begin around 3:00-3:30 depending on how many entries we have.

For the SCLX members that are wanting to go. We have set up a caravan meeting spot on Hwy 290 at Bucee's.

The meeting time for the caravan, at Bucee's, will be at 8:30am on Sat. April 4th. We plan to depart from Bucee's, for Appel DCJ, at 9:00am. That will put us at the Mopar show by no later than 10am. Plenty of time to pull in, get registered and park our cars.

Congratulations to all the club members that placed and won at the car show.

On the way home I decided to challenge that "BAD 300" to see what that 392 can do.

First phase: From 70 to 120mph, he pulled away from me and kept pulling until he got into traffic.
Next phase: We got to a stop light and when the light turned I got on it, he did likewise and just started pulling away from me.

Conclusion of experiment: "BAD 300" with the 392 is a bad 300C. Dr Al rides off into the sunset thinking, I got to get stroked and/or blown. No wisecracks!! LOL
