Lucky’s Rod Run!

Any SpaceCityLX club members attending Lucky’s Rod Run this Sunday? If you are where are you all meeting?

Hundreds of cars join in the annual run to the Chicken Oil Company in Bryan / College Station. Around 300 to 500 vehicles attend this cruise!

The cruise starts at various locations around the Houston area. If you want to cruise together there are several starting points:

One group meets at 9:00 AM at the Kroger Parking Lot, West of I-45 on 105 in Conroe.

You can also join in with the Houston Classic Chevy Club, they will leave the Shell station at 290 @ 1960 at 9 o’clock sharp.

HMCCers’ Alex Stern and Charles Williams will be joining the Blast from the Past Street Machines of Texas. They have a group forming at the 24 Hour Fitness Center on FM1960 in Atascocita. See Map. We will depart Sunday Morning at 7:00 AM and drive straight to Bryan. Please have your Gas Tanks Full.

This will be the driving route from the 24 hour fitness center, you may join in at anytime along the way if you wish.

1774 West to 105 West

Exit Texas Ave
Left on University Drive
Right on South College Ave
Arrive at Chicken Oil Company
3600 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801
Approx. Driving Distance: 99 Miles - 2Hrs 15 Min.

In addition to the Chicken Oil Company, There are several restaurants in this area.

This is just a great Cruise - No Fees, No Trophies - Just Cruising Fun - Last year over 500 vehicles showed up in Bryan.

Good question but to be honest, I do not know when they will pass or whether they are going in separate groups. The MOPAR group (see http://www.houstonmopars.org/) is going to start at 7:00AM from East of Houston and the Chevy club is heading out at 9:00AM possible to meet the other group or to travel solo.
