any M&G for december or january?

just thought i would see if you guys and gals have any thing planned for the holidays as far as meets. im originally from Houston and im goin back home for the holidays and thought that it would be cool to meet sum fellow LX'ers in my hometown.

Well SCLX just had our December meet and greet this past Saturday. It was our annual Toys For Tots event. The 2010 schedule has not been released yet and no official date yet for the January meet and greet.

We have the bi-monthly central M&G, casual GTG off I-10 W near downtown. The next one is on the 18th. (1st and 3rd Friday of every month).

The following one falls on the 1st - is that one still on?

I keep forgetting about the 1st and 3rd Friday meet and greets as the last few have been canceled for bad weather. Thanks for the reminder Ozzo. Hopefully this Fri. 12/18 the weather will hold.

guys, we finalized the calendar last night. i'm in the middle of revamping the entire website and we'll have a simple forum there for members to use (i'm getting ahead of myself with the announcement....)

anyway, here's the 2010 calendar. in the new site the "event" forum will allow members to organize a quick meet, much more efficiently.

the 18th is still on!

the 1/1/2010 is NOT on per the new schedule. we'll be going to Coffee and Cars on the first Saturday of the month, then the 3rd Friday central m/g will be firm. several sclx members including FreebirdSRT have told us about this great event so we wanted to make it something that all the interested members can participate in.

Bravo SCLX-LT for the 2010 schedule! Stoked for the new year and hope to get some more "informal" GTG's and events to fill some more of the year. Good to hear about a potential birth of a forum.

i'm working though a couple bugs with the email confirmation system.... once i get that figured out, i'll "turn on" the forum. it's ready to go otherwise.

this will be a great place to talk about those informal gtg's.

a few of the other giuys have to problem coming out on short notice to make a brother feel at home
