    Agressive recruiting tactics?

boy, i saw a sight today. two men lurking and laying in wait to recruit anyone they could get their hands on. musta worked too, cause when i left them, not only was the srt8 owner a convert, but they were installing the air intake that i watched him purchase. yes, both of them like a couple of out of practice ballerinas, dancing from car to toolbox and back again. it suuure was something to behold! lol!

but seriously, good job guys and thanks for all that work, the whole reason i was present for this momentous occasion was because of the deal i got from the folks at allen samuels. and now that i have my new grill, deathtrain has his weekend project!
but don't worry, deathtrain was busy doing some recruiting of his own while all of this was happening. may have even convinced some poor soul to not only join the club, but to go back to the dealer and give up his 3-day old sxt and trade it for an r/t. keep it rolling guys!!!

i prefer to call them effective recruiting tactics. :-)

that might have been a first for any club. after you left, one of the salesman just sold an Charger SRT and came over to get a SCLX flyer to give the new owner.

big thanks to Bill Denton at Allen Samuels for all the support he is giving to our organization.

he showed up for the informal meet last night. then this morning he calls me and says, "i saw a cool 300 with some nice rims. i had him roll his window down and told him about spacecitylx.com, i can't believe i did that!"

that's the power of the LX baby....makes you want to tell everyone. we are honored to have such gung-ho owners as members of our little local community. interacting on these forums is awesome...and taking that interaction in-person....amazing!

Speaking of aggressive recruiting tactics, I would like to suggest to the club we consider adding the SpaceCityLX club web site in the signature boxes of all club members that post on the different forums. Good examples are provided by Deathtrain, stealthsrt8, and SRT BEE. Might help us get the word out and reach that 150 club membership milestone before the end of the clubs first anniversary.
Just got back from Maryland; still winter there compared to Houston!

I did this exact thing on Sunday! The guy probably won't be joining only b/c he probably thought I was the biggest tool ever. Not b/c I rolled down the window to tell him I liked his car and he should check out SCLX.com, but he probably did think I was the biggest tool ever for leaning out the passenger window of my wife's Honda CRV to tell him all that. hehe Oh well.

    See yall Saturday.

hahaha, I did the same thing out of the Expedition! The person in the passenger seat of the Magnum kept looking over at me and looking back a the C2M2 card. The driver was like, yeah...I'm cool. Oh well, probably won't see them again either.
My Duster is getting an Inertia Motorsports HEMI!

Didn't you make it to the Texas ALL MOPAR event benefiting the Tx School for the Blind?
