    13 Feb, Back in Houston.

    13 FEB, I'm heading back to Houston to drop my ride off for new toys, but would like to hook up with some folks... Nuvie you down man?
    I'll be staying in the NW corner of Houston. If anyone wants to have dinner or go cruising, please let me know. My flight is on th 16th back to Kansas so lots of free time.

    We could pull a motor even to save some $$.. lol Just kidding, maybe.

    Hey Jeff, If you recall I suggested you post a thread on the LX Car Clubs/SpaceCityLX site so others would know you would be in town and then realized I will be in Alameda, CA from the 11th to the 14th. Would have like to me you but you will be in good hands with the club members that can make it to Mekongs. Welcome to Houston and safe journey!

    The reason I have to come down is to get a new engine, I have a 5 cylinder now.. =( but still have 368 hp and torque. While the engine is getting rebuilt I hope to have some paint work fixed, prep for new rear end and shafts, and I hope complete peddlers suspension change out. Some of that stuff will not happen this trip but I will be leaving my car in care of FRI while I'm gone for work for another 18 months.

    Where is a good place to meet up, you mentioned Mekong's ill map quest it. I'm game for anything to be honest. Is that right off of 1960? I will be staying in that area so its perfect.

    And cant wait to meet the great folks of LX people from Houston.

    Well if you are dropping the car off at FRI's. That would be a great place for us Houston folks to come up and meet you. Mekongs is a restaurant that is owned by one of our SCLX members and we love eating there. Plus Mekongs is only 10 minute drive from FRI's.

    Lets see what BD says works best for him. I am open for Friday but I do not know what time he expects to get into Houston. Saturday may work better for him and all of us.
