    Small Meet at the A&W

I friend calls and tells me she heard that the A&W near by does the old fashioned car window service on Thursdays and that a couple of the tuner cars are going to go down. So I decide to check it out..

It was insane how many nice cars were there. Mostly muscle/classic cars but it was a mix. It was completely free

    I seen one beauty though

    anyone on here?

The first photo shows about 80% of the cars. the A&W is actually to the left and there was overflow in the lot behind me. They were trying to set a record and estimate 1000 cars showed up.

Halifax doesnt have a decent spot for cars to hang out and I think something like an A&W that had the layout of the old window/car service would be popular. Like they had back in the day. We have the chickenburger which is a 50s diner but its location doesnt have a big enough parking spot.

I was there, best I could tell, I was the only Magnum.

Oops, I just looked at the date of this post. I was at the one last Thursday where there were over 1300 cars.

I think that it is a weekly thing in the summer months, usually about 30 or 40 cars (from what I've been told). The one time I showed up it was a record night with 1,300 cars there. I think that the big one only happens once per year.

Yes it is every thursday.... The number of cars depends on the weather, and the number of cars will get smaller as the days get shorter... obviously August is the peak month..
