"Now that you have become part of the LXForums family, make yourself known! Introduce yourself in the Newbie Check-In Forum! We are newbie friendly and
you'll be sure to get a warm welcome!"
That's what I was greeted with today when i signed up, just to reply to this post. I'm usually just a creeper, because I don't have an LX "yet".
Through AutosEvolve and I guess SSRT i found out about a car show in my area. And a great thanks to SSRT; and AutosEvolve for doing it, it was great.
I thought wow, what a great community they've got here. When looking at the rolling Challenger I overheard, by someone that I assumed was on the
SSRT team, that it was for Targa NFLD, and was a little shocked that it was for this years race. OK, I guess with enough people and support it could
be done. But with any race car, one would expect the need to have extensive seat time to test and get to know the car. I've seen Love the Beast,
so most of my understanding comes from this. But also through that movie, I got the understanding that it not only takes a lot of time, but also a lot
of money as well. I mean lets be honest, this is exactly why these cars have many many promo stickers on them. So I assumed that SSRT would have more
then just AutosEvolve sponsoring them.
On this meet and greet, show and shine, whatever you'd like to call it, I also had the opportunity to Meet and Greet Rahul, Raven and Dana. Sorry if
there's an issue mentioning other names on this post, but they are all that's involved with AutosEvolve in the working day to day of the fledgling
company. And from my understanding, one of them is only there twice a week. So in reality, there are two full time people behind AutosEvolve. (Great shirts
guys, can I buy one yet? PPPPLEASE!) And by fledgling, I mean December 2011. So a company, that's been around 6 month, stepped up, and offered money
to assist in the building of a car, for the 2012 Targa NFLD. You know what, thats a huge undertaking for such a little guy. So when I talked with Rahul
about his company, about his car(s), and his love for Lx's. I came to understand his passion for all things LX/SRT. I understood, because I felt it as
he spoke, it charged me up, and made me want to get one even more. When showing me his little part of the dealership he mentioned that the car in the
#1 position had purchased the SRT8 Magnum, from the dealership the week before, there was an issue with the car, and to solve it, and to make the buyer
happy, he sold 22' replice rims to him for a loss (Are these the rims that were posted elseware, how nice a person must be, to sell something for a loss.
And it made the buyer so happy, he was the frist person to show up to the meet.). He usually chargers 35pts up (Who tell someone how much they charge
over cost), because they are there to make a living, and who can fault them for wanting that. When I asked Rahul what involvement they had with the Challenger, he told me they were sponsoring it for $10 000 worth in parts from their vendors. Wow, that was wicked. $10 000 of this young companys money, towards a race car. And it stands to reason that it would be from thier vendors, how else would they get stuff, and maybe they can write off some of it, I don't know. But $10 000 in parts, that's a good start. SSRT still has a lot of work cut out for them, but it's a very good start. Which one of us wouldn't love $10 000 to put into our rides?
Even though all members of AutosEvolve knew I didn't drive an LX, they welcomed me, some were able to spend time with me, making me feel welcomed into
the AutosEvolve community. When I do finally buy and LX, and that Black 300 SRT8 just keeps calling my name, I'll buy it from that dealership. When
it's time for me to do any work on it, it'll be AutosEvolve that does it. Because in a short time, I have gleamed a brotherhood with them. They told me
up front what they charge over their cost, who does that. That shows me honesty. Now I don't know Conrad, and I haven't gotten to know him or SSRT at all. But from the things I've read in this post, it seems to me that cyber bullying is alive and well in the LXF. Someone that has been here for a long time
is pushing the Newbie around. I bring your attention to the first statement on this post, something I didn't write.
Anyone that hasn't gone to introduce themselves to AutosEvolve, I encourage you to do so. They're trying to build a community of people who love cars,
all cars. Make you're own informed decision and don't let these people confuse you with slander for their own purpose. If you weren't going to
get the Challenger ready for this year, blaming it on someone else is childish. And anyone who would think that a small and new performance company
was going to be able to foot the bill, for what could be $100 000 build, should use logic.
Thank you LXF for your time. And to anyone that reads this thread and sees the logic that I came up with, maybe post your support for the little guy.
And you know what, I'm just going to follow them on Facebook to find out the next get together, I'm going to go by from time to time and window shop.
Even if at this time it's the only way I can show my support, I will.
And now you bullies can attack another newbie, shame on you.
In my eye's you're not a newbie, You didn't join to take part in the LX community, you joined LXF to back up a buddy. That is fine as there is no problem in doing so but just be sure of facts ( both sides of the story at least) before speaking up.
My only response to this thread was based on a smart azz remark by Auto Evolve. Which clearly shows frustration but it also shows lack of professionalism. When starting out as a Vendor on any site, one comment like that can kill your delicate rep real fast.

Thank you for this post. I did write that comment in frustration, but it has some truth to it. Defending oneself is every ones right. I will defend my position as will SSRT. People reading this forum thread should really get all the facts. I thank WanaLX for stepping up we will see you around and be sure that we are still building our community.
Thank you once again.
