Its a real shame when we could have presented this to other dealerships and had been told not to bother, as they wanted the sponsorship deal on their own,for 4 months,back and forward ,meetings ,phone calls,going down there,pushing the cage builder on deadlines,stepping up to the plate by turning up with the car at the show,the many late nights to get it to a rolling chassis,when it should have been at the paint shop,everything was all moved around to meet their needs, and promising the car would be there, all for what?? A true disapointment,.Oh well as they say s--t happens,their loss. We will keep this going and not fall to the mercy of being let down 4 months before Targa,but the show will go on. It is a shame I wasnt privy to the work ethics of this dealership, as I would never have taken customers ( all of whom bought vehicles) there, that wont ever happen again.

How time changes things, SSRT Inc. were told by Autos Evolve to "stop looking for sponsorship, we want to be your corporate sponsor". Some months later when time comes to put out some money, they refused to live up to their end of the agreement. We sat in their boardroom and were provided with money commitments. We agreed to provide participation in their corporate functions, incorporate an Ontario registered company and promote their wares, including through the LX Forums. We lived up to our commitment, then they pull their sponsorship after we supported their corporate show two weekends ago at Scarsview Chrysler.

I guess a man's word isn't what it used to be. We were mislead and that has cost us several months progress in preparing our Challenger for the upcoming Targa Race in September. Thanks very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As an owner of SSRT Inc., I can't express enough my disappointment with the lack of professionalism shown by Autos Evolve in this matter. I is difficult going forward to understand how this behavior can possibly spell success for their company in the future.

I am going to do this only once. Yes we did say we would want to be your corporate sponsor, but no sponsorship package was signed. $10,000 dollars was promised over a period of time, not up front not on demand. I also clearly stated that we would be providing parts that were available to us through our vendors. I never once said that I would foot the bill for an engine. $10,000 dollars would not complete the car, I was still willing to work with you guys to get other parts for the vehicle but buying an engine was out of my hands. You know my number and if you want to call me you can. As for the event we expected to see a WIDE BODY Challenger it is what we told all of our people. We provided the prizes we provided the entertainment we did not ask anything of SSRT except to show up and invite your friends. If the LX forums members who are reading this decide not to attend our next event I will be disappointed but we will go on.

I understand alot of you do not know me, but I am a man of integrity there are alot of details to this story.... at the end of the day we are very disappointed at the way this situation is being handled by SSRT in truth maybe we did this all wrong but hey we live and learn......I look forward to hearing back in person from all the SSRT members you know my number call me don't bash me over the internet, it is so easy to do.

I want to end by saying thank you for all the support for Autos Evolve from the LX community I am sorry that this situation came up.. I ask that you give us the benefit of the doubt we have not had any dealings with any of your members, so you probably don't know us but come see for yourself and you can draw your own conclusions.

Please get your facts correct, because we both know that what you put above isn't right in any way.

Not one single member of SSRT Inc. will call you about anything & why would we as there is nothing to say to you at all.

We are done with you, autos evolve and scarsview, and you only have yourselves to thank for all of this and you know it, so please don't attempt to spin it any other way, you did wrong by us and now you are trying to save face and dispel the deficiency that is autos evolve at this time.

BTW - the conclusions have been made, and are stated throughout this thread, congratulations & thank you too!!!!!!!!!!!!
