Toronto F Body Solo 2 event #3

I am the Director for the solo 2 events and would love to see more Lx'rs out there, especially see what a SRT8 could do. I will be using my Magnum R/T this event and have run it at the last 2 events for a couple runs. This is a safe legal way to enjoy your car.

$25 for Club members
$35 for non members

Powerade Center
8:30-9:30am registration
9:30-10:00 drivers meeting and walk through
10:00 first car
12:00-1:00 lunch (Depending on numbers, we may race through lunch)
4:00 Approximate finish of the last car, I want to see if we can get a minimum of 6 runs in. More if possible.
4:00-5:00 clean up.

I was racing a 325xi at the last event with the Magnum and managed to beat him. I had the hp but he had a 700lb advantage and awd to pull out of the corners. All my suspension is stock too, no springs nothing.

Hope maybe a couple of you can come out. Drop by and watch if you are in the area.

If I was in the area I'd be delighted to join you! How are your run times, compared to the other guys?

Myself and TTMR run our SXT/AWD's in Solo events down here in Ohio, USA! Mine's a Charger, his is a Magnum. This is my first year at it, his second. He's also running racing tires, so he's a few seconds ahead of me on run times. We also just ran a PDX at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course yesterday!

Next up for me will be some much-needed suspension mods, in about a month or so...

we all went to rabs appreciation barbecue yesterday, and are either drying off, or suffering hangovers. ive got some previous engagements, and some further tuning before i get my car back on a road course type circuit. next time...

Well we had a great day today. No rain all day. You could see it all around us, but nothing fell. We all got 7 runs in by 2:30, the normal is 6 by 5pm. I did see a Black Charger pull in to the lot around 2:45, was it one of you guys?

I beat the living pee out of the Maggie and beat several F Bodies on raw time and with in .5 secs of a suspension upgraded 98 Vette. I made him work for it too.

Hopefully we can see a few of guys out next year. I think there might be a video or 2 of my Magnum. I'll post them up when they get posted.

Proof of the abuse!





Well I did manage to be with in .4 sec of a 98 Vette with suspension mods and with in 1.5 secs of all but 2 cars on a 70 sec course. With paxxing I finished 4th out of 18 cars and was only .09 sec out of third and it was a 2002 Firehawk. 1st and 2nd were the 2006 Canadian Champion and his brother.

All in all the Magnum did very well.

Our club only does 3 per year and this was the final one for the year.This year was so popular we are considering 4 events next year.

The event with the Mustang club was a lot of fun having similar cars competing. I think the LX cars ar a good fit as well, especially the Challenger and Charger. The SRT8 should be very competitive, if I gave the cars a hard time that I did in an RT, in an SRT8 I would have owned them.

I am seriously thinking about a Challenger RT to replace the Magnum next spring.

Hopefully next year we can see some LX cars out.
