Hoping for the rain to do it's thing this week and give us all a break on the weekend be it for my move, GTA M&G or Moparfest.

Rain is easy to deal with but with the amount we've had ya really can get sick of it in a hurry.

What's driving me crazy lately are these freak sunshowers and thunderstorms that come out of nowhere!

Last week I had just washed my car and it started raining in broad sunshine! No clouds anywhere above, but it poured rain. WTF?

Yesterday. No rain in the forecast. Blue skies with a few big white fluffy clouds (not rainclouds). I spent all afternoon washing and detailing the car, go to run a few errands, giant stormcloud blows in, it pours rain for 20-30 minutes then it stops and clears up.

Car is filthy again!

If it rains directly after a carwash then my car usually doesn't get dirty. Rain only messes up my car when it hasn't been washed recently (dirt particles have accumulated).

We've had so much freak/localized weather lately it's insane..

Like Flex I wanna clean the Mag but everytime I sneeze let alone touch a cleaning product it starts to rain/hail/blow you name it..

I said I was out running errands afterwards. It's summer. Which means construction everywhere, which means dirt on the roads, which splashes up on the car while it rolls down the road.

Yes, it if rains while the car is just sitting in the driveway it's not bad. Just means a quick dry so no water spots, but if you drive in the rain, the car is going to get dirty.

You would think so, but it happened.

I was standing out on the street with my neighbors and were all in amazement; although they were quite amused because they had seen me spend the last several hours cleaning my car.

yeah, sun showers seem to be frequent lately, in between thunderstorms.

My place is on the L shaped bend of the street.

Last thursday was in the garage having an "air break" with the wife and it started to rain at both ends of the street. Took a good 10 mins before it actually rained at the house. Our street is not huge either I can read the numbers on the houses at the longer end without issue.

For me at least until I move that is I have a gravel driveway so if it rains the car gets dirty just sitting there let alone if I have to drive in it..

That was last summer here.. or at least seemed like it.

This year has been a total freak with some nasty snow and constant rain..

Gotta love Canada for that I guess.

Doesn't slow the Mag down any though (other then for obvious safety lol)

You can send some of that rain my way. We've not seen any since mid July. It's rained all around me but not at my house. My lawn is now a nice shade of brown.
