    Magnum crosses Ontario 2-4 weekender

    Well this weekend me and the family took a spur of the moment trip across Ontario.

    Us (the family) are all from Nova Scotia so the chance of a long weekend while here in ON, was too good of a temptation to pass up.

    We started out on saturday in Kingston then headed up to Smith Falls to the Hershey Chocolate Factory. Then back down to the 401 to Ridgetown to meet the wifes family (got some nice pics there) then on Sunday over to Chatum to meet the other side of her family. Since Windsor/Detroit were only 45 min away the opportunity to go down just a little bit farther was just too much to pass up. So I went into Windsor got some pics of Detroit City and General Motors tower then up to the Chrysler plant. Back to Chatum/Ridgetown. We hit the road at 0500hrs this morning and headed for Niagra Falls (WOW) then we headed into Toronto to see the CN Tower (so Big) and for my kids to goto MuchMusic. Then we headed back home to Kingston.

    We all had a great time and the car was fantastic to drive. I am looking forward to our drive/Move to Edmonton Alberta in 2 weeks. Over the weekend we had about 3 people ask me questions about the Magnum. Weird to be in a car that so many people really like.

    Anyway I am tired and I have to goto the field all this week starting at 0500 in the morning. Thats military life.

    As soon as I can I will get some pics posted to show our trip. What a great time.

    Please dont tell me you ended up seeing Regis and Kelly when at the Falls today?!

    Great trip, I took a similar one about 3 years ago from Kingston after attending a military reunion, went to all the cities that I lived in as a kid when my dad was in the military. I did not drive from Calgary but rented an Intrepid after flying. Enjoy your road trip to Alberta, it's been many, many years since I did that trip. Welcome to Alberta!!!!!!!

    ahaha NO! But when we were there there were so many people we didnt know what was going on.
