Going to Balsam Lake Prov. Park Monday Aug 3

It was pointed out to us that we put in the wrong date. Monday is correct, but the date is Aug 4th not the 3rd!!

I don't know about everyone else, but most long weekends we end up staying home and not doing anything. What a waste!

This long weekend we are at least going to do some family fun time on the Monday!

We are going up to Balsam Lake provincial park, on Balsam lake. Everyone who has been there say's that it has the best beach for swiming in all of Ontario. So we are going to put that to the test.

Our plan is to head up in the morning, get some swin time in, then a picinc lunch. Then play some sports, swim or just relax.

We would like to see if anyone else would like to join us for the day.
We would like to leave at about 9.00 am and we can meet at the Ajax Canadian tire store parking lot. Close to the Tim Hortons for those who need thier morning fix.

It is about an hour and 20 mins or so. We went past it on the Kawartha run, it's near hwys 35 and 48.

Just a quick correction in the title of this thread. Monday's date is the 4th of August (not the 3rd as listed).

We do apologize for any confusion this may have caused but we're still headed to the beach this holiday Monday! Let us know if you can join us and please bring your families.
