About LinkBacksHey Guys,
So I'm going to be turning the car back into the dealer in the next few weeks, but using the card they sent me, 2 of the tires do not meet the "minimum tread depth" so rather than the dealer charge me a fortune, I'm looking for 2 tires that will fit a Charger R/T rim (18") that I can throw on before sending it back it.

what's the tire size scott. 225/60/18?

What is the minimum tread depth required?

I have 4 tires (stock Conti's from my 05 Magnum).
I'm not sure what minimum thread depth is acceptable.
Find out and I will measure them.

Mods: Mopar CAI, 20" Boss 304's, Kumho ECSTA ASX 245/45 20, Tinted Tails,
JBA header + mids, Corsa cat-back,
Black Headlights (w/HIR High/Low bulbs), Custom Habs Machined wheel hubs, HID Fogs, Air Silencer removed
Future mods: Shaker hood, 2-tone paint, custom graphics (Habs), Posi-traction (LSD)

According to the card, the minimum tread depth is .32cm, or .126 of an inch (1/8th of an inch)
You have to be able to measure this at the greatest wear point (lowest tread spot)

I measure from .160" to .190".
I think I found the greatest wear points.
