    Advice if you plz

Well my HID's and Halos have been in for 6 months now and I can take no more. The HID flicker on and off regulally and piss me off. I am thinking its just a power issue that a capacitor can solve.

Where do you fine LX members recommend I go for someone to : -
    A) fix the flickering

    B) Install new sexier bright RED Halos on a switch?

    Thanks in advance as always!

    Love

    Jon

Could be bad connection or corrosion. On one side of my Magnum the light connectors were severely corroded, I ended up snipping off the connector and soldering a new one on. Haven't had a problem with flicker since.

If your HID's are flickering then yes an anti-flicker harness or a simple capacitor will resolve the issue. I have a spare if you need to copy one.

As for the halo's.... well I would just remove them before they set fire to you car.

Well i did my own fogs and from what i understand the charger headlight is easier than the mag. Talk to hemicanucksfan and see what tips and advice he can give as he did his headlights and fogs by himself.

I've got the 55w 8000K HIDs (lows & fogs) in my car, got them about a year ago. No problems so far. I know Sheldon had a ballast go on his but they replaced it with no issues. I would say, go for it. Had the highs as well but found out that they don't play well with the DRL's.

yah, i think my ballast went because i was playing around rewiring everything earlier in the day. no problems with my lows or fogs since. they replaced my ballast without any problem. i have 6000k, 55w lows and 35w fogs. i also arranged a group buy from dabears last year. i found matt good to deal with. good luck.
