Slightly different route and timing from last year.

Time frame: A leave Grimsby 9:00-9:30, hit B Gateway Niagara 9:30 - 10:00, reach the C Rainbow Bridge at 9:45 - 10:15 (giving 15 mins for the border), leave the border at 10:00 - 10:10:30, reach D meeting area after customs E Angola Travel Plaza, mile marker 447 I-90 W at 10:45 - 11:15 (giving 1 h for a stretch/bite eat and allows for longer border times), leave plaza at 11:45 - 12:15, reach F HQ Hotel Hampton Inn Youngstown West at 2:00 - 2:30.

All times are approximate.

Travel communications: Communications during travel will be via handheld 2-way GMRS/FRS radios. If you have extras please bring along for those who might not have one. Channel 6 has worked well in the past, so we will use again this trip.

I'm trying to see if my schedule will work with this. I was dissappointed I had to miss ATCO last Nov. after having a awesome time the year before. I think the wife wants to come along this year, and maybe she'll take the Jeep with her. That way I can for sure leave my car over night at the track again and still have a vehicle to drive back with.

Just booked rooms for Friday and Saturday nights. There are still about 50 rooms left at the Hampton Inn so lets fill them up!

I've got hotel booked for Friday & Saturday nights but haven't registered yet. Which brings up a question... I'm not racing (not consistent enough yet having just started racing last year) and my car is not "show-worthy" compared to what I expect to see there. So, I would just register as a spectator, correct?

Anyone know if the track was re-surfaced as promised?
Sadly, it was dangerous for the ultra high hp vehicles there.
Oh, and Wendy wants REAL bathrooms there. The ladies deserve them.

You can only learn to race by doing it. You will get a chance to make 10 to 20 practice runs if history repeats. Then you race, if you lose so what, if you win a few rounds even better. There will be plenty of help from guys who know how to race.

I am no way consistant, but it is alot of fun and your opponent may red light or break out!!
