Just arrived in Edmonton on Tuesday for a house hunting trip. I found our house that same day. Now I have been cruising around bored out of my mind.

Checked out a few performance shops. I think I will be going back to JBs Performance. The guy was from my home town so we hit it off right away.

The city is pretty big but real clean. Not hard to get around once you work out hte numbers on the streets and Avenues.

SO far though I have only seen ONE(1) Magnum.

If there are anyone here from Edmonton you can find me at the Ramada on Kingsway(118), I am so bored. Give a call to room 1221 if I am not there leave a message and when I get back in we can meet up.

By the way I am temp driving a VW Jetta TDI. Great on Gas $9 for almost 250Kms driven.

I am now going to go and try to buy a 51" TV for when I get the family up here.

Took a run around the city today. I went from one corner to the next just to try and get a feel for the place. I Like it.

I put another post about your trip to Alberta, but I guess you did not see it.

The magnum is not a very good seller here in Alberta and many dealers or at least here in Calgary are sending them out of province. The 300 is selling well. I see a few mags here but mostly in the rental market.

As for anyone coming to Edmonton DO NOT stay at the Ramada on Kingsway it is Ghetto of hotels. I was awakened at 345am to fighting and then the fire alarm being pulled. The cops showed up and the Fire Dept. False alarm, cause one of the guys int he fight pulled it to get attention of em services I over heard. I am now going to another hotel for my last night here.

My daughter is a Police Officer in Edmonton and she is disgusted in the way these so called fans are behaving. Since I retired from the police service here in Calgary I am quite happy that our flames, flamed out and am just as happy to not be involved with these idiots.

By the way, I have stayed at that hotel when my daughter was applying for the police service and I concur with your post, it looks like it hasn't changed in 9 years!!!

Now staying at the HILTON and it is a much nicer atmosphere. The staff are friendly and curtous (SP) and the room so much better.

I am now spending about $40 more per night though. Thank GOD I go home tommorrow.

Dont worry man, you will see alot of magnums/300/chargers soon. Just cruise around, I see at least a dozen a day. Jb's is a pretty cool shop. I have got alot of work done there. I have a few shops I go to. JB's is mainly for stereo, and parts you can buy off shelf and get installed. But I usually stick to stereos from there.
As for other modifications, I actually order from out of province, I order from Regina, Saskatchewan. I have a guy there that is awsome, will beat any price you give him ALWAYS, and the shipping is usually only 2-5 days pending routes taken.
Anyways, when your settled or what-ever, drop me an email or a private message. We will chat again.
Good luck, and I am sure you'll love edmonton. Yesterday it was like 33 degrees!!! Woohooo

Yeah I was at JBs and talked to Richard whom is from my home town of Halifax. I like that place more the MOPAC.

I hope to envite you Matrix and Rufwon and family of course over for a BBQ after I settle in this summer. be nice to meet up with you.
