    Rotors...

So I took my car into the dealership today for the shaking while braking i had when we were on the cruise last Sunday. They gave me the stunning news ( Yes that's sarcasm lol ) that I need new rotors front and back. They want to charge me 880 plus tax. So I was wondering what are good rotors to run on my car. I was thinking on getting the work done at my dealership or getting my friends boyfriend witch is a mechanic to do it. So dose anyone have any suggestions?

Yea contact r1 concepts and they can get some brakes for ya. That is where mine are from. Slotted rotors and posi quiet pads and they are great. I can't remember what I paid but it was a great deal shipped and had them shipped to ship happens in Sumas.

E-mail r1 concepts. Tell them what you need and they will give you options that are significantly less than what the dealer wants. I just did mine front and rear last month. There's plenty of help here for those wanting to save some coin and do it themselves. I went with Premium Blanks and Posi-quiet pads.

R1 is the way to go just finshed putting on my drilled and slotted rotors and pads today and if I knew then what I know now I would have paid a shop to put them on well atleast the rears lol dealing with that star wheel to get the e-brake pad to release the rotors was a nightmare but all in all it turned out great. Good luck with whatever you decide to go with.
