Has anyone north of the 49th had any trouble with bubbles after removing the moulding? I want to on my maggie (in piece is just starting on its own..)
But so worried because of all the negative press this has been getting lately.

I have removed my SM without incident. The general popular opinion is that this only happens to cars in hot humid parts of America. Who knows. The thing you gotta remember is that if you choose not to remove the molding and the bubbles are there anyways then the car will eventually start to rust in this area. Just leaving the mouldings on will not cure the bubbling problem. If you like the look of the car without the mouldings I say just remove them. My .02
