    Hit by a stolen car

Thankfully, it wasnt my car, happened to be the girlfriends car. Got a knock on the door at 4:30am just as i was leaving for work and it was a cop saying someone hit my girlfriends car. As you can see in the photo, my super high performance, custom two tone 89 firefly managed to remain unhit, 10 feet back and it would have taken out the firefly instead. Too bad it wasnt worse, i doubt its a write off, can only hope, that way we can actually use that replacement insurance. It pushed it into the curb and i think bent the suspension on the passengers side, not really sure how bad it is though.

Yeah they caught the guy, so at least we dont have to pay the deductible. Pretty hard sideways hit for being parked on the side of the road. I have no idea which way they were even going, might have swung around the corner coming off abernathy onto 228th, thats means they missed the magnum by a few feet cause its in the driveway just infront of her car.

Yowza! Good thing it wasn't the SRT, if it was BCLX would be busy hunting that idiot down! Sorry your girl's car was damaged.

Depending on the availabilty of parts, the car could be a a write-off. Like you said, you can only hope.

Good luck with that! Jenny's Civic was stolen a few years back. The cops apprehended the thieves after thwarting the attacking civic on their police cruiser. We still had to pay the deductible and the courts try and get the money back as a claim from the defendants.

Long story short. Thieves don't have much to any money or credit. We saw $0 back from the deductible. What a kick in the nutz eh!

ICBC already called and said the deductible was waved, we'll have to wait and see what they say about the damage.

If there is supension damage as well the bill will add up quickly, i recommed going to a mazda dealer and seeing if you can get a quote on a new version of your car and see if there is factory rebates which will help if the cost of repair gets higher as you can push for write off.

WOW...I don't think the presence of the police would have saved that kid's life if it was my Road Runner. Ouch.
