Some educated guys posting, some not so educated...
    LOL

By exact definition the 426 wasn't a "true" Hemi either. The gen3 Hemis have hemishperical combustion chambers with the sides pulled in, but the dual plugs were available on the gen2 Hemis and the rocker layout sure doesn't look like a wedge to me. Call it a pent roof if you want, but the combustion chamber was never "flattened to a squish area" on the gen3 like the guy claims.

At least the KNOWLEDGEABLE Chevy guys are correcting him!

The second generation 5.7 Hemi produces 380 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, using variable cam timing; it shuts off four cylinders when possible to get good mileage.

Allpar says the 2nd gen is as impressive as your 6.0 right now, lol.

Seems the Vette owners are not as cohesive as us LX owners.....I heard it's because that's the way the BCLX rolls

WOW! I could not believe some of these guys going at it. At least some of them were educated and knew what they are talking about.

    * AirAid CAI * PowerAid TBS * hood struts * strut tower covers * removed door moldings * blinker mod * mopar front splash guards * tinted windows all around * extreme white LED interior bulds * extreme white LED backup lights * more to come.....

it's truly amazing what can be done with a computerized engine now a days, and just how much better things will get for us as the war between manufacturers rains on!
