Edmonton/Red Deer SPRING Time Meet

OK since I tried to organize something last october and then with me being a newbie to Alberta and having never seen snow before halloween. I am going to try to set up a meet for this spring.

Most likely the last weekend in APR.

The Weekend of April 28-29 2007.

Not sure if it will be anything more then a meet and greet. But if there is enough interest from enough people maybe it could be more.

Those that are from Edmonton send me a PM if you have an idea of someplace to meet or to cruise to. Thanks

Sounds OK to me. Blacksunshine was organizing an LX club here in Calgary. Maybe you should PM him and see if he can organize a group from here to make a road trip.

This is still a go for those interested.

Date will be the weekend of May 5/6. Just after Payday for some. Lots of notice.

Location TBA. As it sits it will be in Edmonton.

I will see if we can combine with Calgary and make for a really big meet of the Province.

One of the river valley parks near the High Level bridge would be an ideal spot for a get together/picnic/cook out. You can even reserve picnic sites for your event.

William Hawrelak Park is ideal for something like this. It is central, and easy to get to, just off Groat Road.

I'd be game here as well. Have to put some kinda miles on the car, not just 140mph passes down my Range Road. I'm sure i'm gonna get busted one of these days either for all the black marks or the speed. It would be great to finally meet some of the members locally. Hey maybe we can do some 80mph passes up and down Groat Road at 1am too !!! LMAO done it and will continue doing it.

Dumb ass video taping me down the Whitemud, i was only doing almost the LIMIT, well maybe 2 or 5 or more, heck who looks at there speedo just watch the tach ya don't want to over rev.

I'm from lloyd these days, but I dont work that weekend on the friday, ill keep tabs on this thread and see whats going on, edmonton is about a 2h haul for me so its nothing really.
