Edmonton LX'ers unit

[Identity Crisis]

Just wanted to trow out an offer to other Edmonton Alberta LX owners that maybe interested in getting together once a month for a little meet and greet at one of the local coffee or burger joints or any other place of interest. Weekday or Weekend nights matter not so it can be dicided later.

We will set a tentitive date of Thursday July 13 @ 730PM location to be determined by a more qualified Edmontonian then myself as I am new to the city.

So what do you all think?

Since i'm new around here, originally from the Charger Forum. A bunch of us from Charger Forum were trying to set up a M&G in Red Deer sometime. The Thread has been left hanging with no dates yet. Not sure if i'm up for driving the 400-500km to Lethbridge. I'd be broke racing chuse all the way down there.

Hey just got on. Been real busy getting ready for Military Activies.

Nice to see some people from the nearby area.

I am going to plan a M&G in October. Near the middle of the month. Nothing fancy just a get together at a local coffee shop to put some faces to names.

I will keep in touch as much as I can but I will be gone the whole month of Sept.

How do the new pipes sound on the Hiway? I think I picked up most of the rubber you were layin' down by the shop should be good for anothe 20 miles before I need new skins LOL. The guy in the SUV driving in by Als' gave me a dirty look when I come roarin up there as he was turning in OH Well.
Give me a call in the morning and we'll check out the show & shine.

And ID Crisis I'd be good with an M&G in Oct as long as it is not the last weekend. SEMA bound as well.

Well the new pipes are great, no grone just purrrrrrrrin. Was racing an SRT-4 on the way home. Funny, he had no hope. Then i look down at the dash to see what speed we were, got no digital read out on the dash, damn read out shut off. Fix the problem when i got home ( loose fuse, shares the horn fuse ) WAS THINKING ABOUT OLD TIMES THE FIN FOIL TRICK. YA RIGHT not this car.
By the way averaged around 200 on the way home, them SRT-4 can still fly. Who woulda thunk a 4 banger is that quick.

Your right I had one glued to me on the Anthony Hendy and I couldn't shake him. They're pretty good bang for the buck for out of the box speed! I still like the snarl of the hemi though even if I'm not as fast off the line. All that should change after SEEMA anyway, you might even have to watch your mirror! Talk to you later this mornin.

Small town and I went to the show and shine in Spruce Grove. Wasn't too bad, some nice old cars there some original and some hot rodded, also had a section devoted to bikes.

Hope your injury heals up quickly. I didn't hear about anything on 97 ave. I think they had something in Northgate though, did you mean 97 street?

I never heard of a car show on 97ave/street. Unless you are talking about the Ft. Road Cruise that happens every week. There is also the MainStreet car show at Town Center every Wednesday. Hey Chuse2Muse the caughing and farting went away in my car, but still no digital in the dash. Pulled every fuse, i think the sledge hammer is the next option. By the way, SEMA may break both of us by the time we all get outta there.
