    It's OK.

    There was a guy on custom magnums that picked up a knob like that from Auto Zone. He drilled out the fake bullet caps, enlarge the openings and inserted live ammo. He called it his backup.

    I like the idea, but as others have said it looks bulky to me, and could be better finished/polished.............plus the spent primers should be replaced with ones that haven't been fired (but rendered inert)...........

    The idea is cool, but the design needs some work.......IMHO...........

    hmmm, never thought about the size issue. They did mention that it is only about 1.75" in diameter and 2" in length.

    I've also been thinking about making a 50 cal fit. I wonder how that will look.

    I have toyed with the idea of using a .50 BMG or a cut down 20mm casing....................just haven't got around to it yet.............

    But I like my current Skull shifter the best..............
